Here here Mary. I have loved every minute of the Jubilee celebrations and I must say my opinion of Prince Charles has changed dramatically. I loved the programme where he was viewing his early years and the Queen's life and he really showed his human side. His speech at the concert brought tears to my eyes. We are so lucky having a wonderful Royal Family and I look forward to celebrating the Platinum Jubliee. I am very proud to be British and all that it stands for.

Yes, we can put on a good show can't we.

I loved the programme on BBC with Prince Charles the Friday before, when he was looking at old film footage, thought he came across really good. Chuckling at things, I'm sure it was unscripted and he didn't know what he was going to see. The bit on the Royal Yacht when he was watching himself and Princess Anne coming down the water slide made me think this, an adult appeared and he said surely he's not going to have a go, (or something along them lines) and next thing down came the man, Prince Charles then laughing in surprise.

It made the Royal Family seem like any other family with their home movies, I did remark to my husband that when these were filmed 50/60 years ago they had no idea that it would be made public, it would of been I would imagine for their viewing only.

Didn't watch the river thing to be honest, couldn't see the point of watching all of them boats on the TV sailing past, one after another. (yes, off to the tower for me)

The pop concert was really good, just how lucky were them people who got really near the front, all of them super stars, pop legend being there, it would cost a fortune to see them. Madness on the roof of Buck House well, if you watched it you will know what I mean..........fantastic or what????

Grace Jones.................scarey or what?, but if you are a fan of hers suppose you would of enjoyed it.

Didn't care much for the comedians (if you can call them that after their jokes)........apart from Peter Kay.

Prince Charles speech at the end very good.

Gary Barlow did do a really good job, putting it all together and I do hope he gets his deserved praise.

The only thing that I thought was really bad and down right RUDE was what happened to Rolf Harris............Asked to sing because Stevie Wonder was running a little late..........he took up the request and started to sing Two Little Boys, no music, no backing singers, really put on the spot on live TV. Started singing it, crowd loving it, joining in and then Lenny Henry trying to stop in mid song because Mr Wonder was now ready to perform!!! Insult or what, he did ask to finish the song, told he couldn't but did manage to sing the last line. I was and still am annoyed about it!!!!!!

Paula

Quite right about poor Rolf. I would much preferred to have listed to Rolf than Stevie Wonder of Paul McCartney. He does not get invited to Glastonbury for no reason. He is a lovely man and deserved more of the limelight. I thought he was also brilliant doing the links.

As for Lenny Henry, don't get me started ............. did he really need to remind us so many times about racism. I quite agree with what he said but this was not the time or the forum to do it.

Just hope that Philip gets to go home to his Wife. I am little worried that he has not been discharged yet.
